鸽源鼠伤寒沙门氏菌的分离鉴定及耐药与毒力基因检测
Isolation,Identification and Detection of Drug Resistance and Virulence Genes of Salmonella typhimurium Strains from Pigeons

Abstract
This research aimed to identify the pathogens of two batches of suspected pigeon paratyphoid infections in a pigeon farm in Guangxi and to analyze the drug resistance and virulence genes of the pathogenic bacteria.A se-ries of tests,including pathological dissection,bacterial isolation and culture,observation of culture characteristics,biochemical identification,16S rRNA sequencing analysis,and serotype analysis were performed on liver tissues of diseased pigeons,and drug resistance and virulence analysis were analyzed by drug sensitivity test,drug resistance gene and virulence gene detection.Two short Gram-negative bacilli were isolated from the liver tissue of diseased pi-geons.Combined with the results of biochemical identification,serotype identification and 16S rRNA analysis,the two strains were all Salmonella typhimurium.The results of the drug sensitivity test showed that both strains of Salmonella typhimurium were resistant to nalidixic acid,streptomycin,and tetracycline.Still,both showed multiple drug-resistance phenotypes.The results of drug resistance gene detection were consistent with the drug resistance phenotypes.The isolated bacterial strains tested positive for 12 virulence genes,including invA.In this study,two strains of Salmonella typhimurium were successfully isolated and identified from pigeons,which showed multiple drug resistance and had high virulence,and provided a reference for the prevention and research of Salmonella ty-phimurium infection from pigeons in the subsequent work.关键词
