Empirical Test of Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship Enabling Common Prosperity of Urban and Rural Areas

Abstract
Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2021,this paper empirically tests the impact and mechanism of digital innovation and entrepreneurship on the common prosperity of urban and rural areas.The results indicate that digital innovation and entrepreneurship have a significant promoting effect on the common prosperity of urban and rural areas.The results of heterogeneity analysis indicate that compared to digital innovation,digital entrepreneurship has a stronger promoting ef-fect on the common prosperity of urban and rural areas,that the promotion effect of digital innovation and entrepreneurship on the common prosperity of urban and rural areas is more significant in the western and northeast regions.The mechanism test results show that digital innovation and entrepreneurship promote common prosperity of urban and rural areas by optimizing residents'in-come structure and enhancing technological innovation capabilities.Therefore,the paper holds that the vitality of digital innova-tion and entrepreneurship in rural areas should be stimulated to promote the common prosperity of urban and rural areas,that the technological innovation level of rural enterprises be improved to optimize the income structure of rural residents,and that differ-entiated development strategies be implemented to narrow the digital divide between urban and rural groups.关键词
