Digestion promoting effects of compounds of Phyllanthus emblica L.extract and four traditional Chinese medicine extracts
摘要
Abstract
The digestion promoting effects of Phyllanthus emblica L.extract in pairs with four extracts respectively(Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium,Poria cocos, hawthorn and Atractylodes macrocephala)and compound of the five extracts above were compared with the indicators such as small intestine movement, gastric emptying, food intake, weight gain, food utilization rate, and pepsin determination in mice/rats models and experiments were carried out.The results showed that the compounds of paired extracts and five extracts compound could significantly improve the small intestine propulsion rate and gastric emptying rate in mice; The mice group fed with five extracts compound could improve the food utilization rate of rats compared to the blank group(P<0.05);The pepsin activity of the rats groups fed with Phyllanthus emblica L.hawthorn compound,Phyllanthus emblica L.poria cocos compound, and the five extracts compound were all significantly increased compared to the blank group(P<0.05);Except for the compound of Phyllanthus emblica L.and Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium extracts, compared to the blank group, the other two compounds of pairs extracts groups all showed an effect of increasing pepsin excretion in rats(P<0.05).Their effects might be related to improving gastrointestinal motility and increasing pepsin activity in rats. This study provides a theoretical basis for the improvement of gastrointestinal digestion function by extracts compounds with Phyllanthus emblica L.,and provides ideas for the development of compound products with Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium to improve gastrointestinal motility.关键词
