战略文化视阈下美国对太平洋岛国的策略与路径
The Strategy and Path of the U.S.towards the Pacific Island Countries from the Perspective of Strategic Culture

Abstract
After World War Ⅱ,the United States and the Pacific Island countries formed a strategic culture characterized by the American exceptionalism,the limited intervention and the strategic denial in the process of interaction.Based on the principle of the American exceptionalism,the United States proposed the need to maintain its absolute authority over the free and united nations in the South Pacific.Based on the principle of the limited intervention,the United States seeks institutionalized partnerships with the Pa-cific Island nations.Based on the principle of the strategic denial,the United States maintains a high degree of vigilance against the intervention of the countries outside the region in South Pacific affairs.Driven by strategic culture,the United States has actively improved its political and diplomatic relations with regional organizations in the South Pacific.Driven by strategic culture,the United States has been actively improving its political and diplomatic relations with South Pacific regional organizations,strengthening top-level de-sign,coordinating foreign aid to Pacific Island countries by the United States Agency for International De-velopment,and carrying out public diplomacy activities to establish a positive international image of the U-nited States.And,the Pacific Island countries will be integrated into partnership network,and military de-ployment will be expanded in the Pacific Island countries and surrounding areas.Even so,because the U-nited States lacks awareness of the development issues of the Pacific Island countries,ignores the historical and cultural differences between the two sides,and has differences in interests with the Pacific Island coun-tries,the strategic cultural radiation effect of the United States in the Pacific Island countries is limited.关键词
