Policy exploration for promoting medicine-education-examination collaborative development based on physician qualification examination:a case study of Physician Qualification Examination(Traditional Chinese Medicine)

摘要

Abstract

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)professionals play a fundamental,strategic,and decisive role in the revitalization of TCM.The Physician Qualification Examination(Traditional Chinese Medicine)is the core evaluation system for TCM talents,and also a crucial mechanism for relevant human resources cultivation and TCM revitalization.As a result,the medicine-education collaboration in the cultivation system of TCM personnel should be further developed into a"medicine-education-exam collaboration"centering around the qualification exam and integrating medical education,clinical practice,and qualification exam.Such medicine-education-examination collaborative and innovative development should be promoted through comprehensive reform of the qualification examination of TCM.To be specific,the examination should play the role of the core shaft to support the training system of TCM talents,the role of driving shaft to guide the deepening reform of medical education and medicine-education coordination,and the role of driven shaft to strike a dynamic balance in post-graduation medical education and human resources allocation.Establishing such a collaborative and innovative development mechanism with the qualification examination system of TCM physicians as the pivot is meaningful in theory,policy and practice for in-depth and fruitful inheritance and innovation of TCM.
