Abstract

The Dongjun silver-lead-zinc deposit in Eerguna,Inner Mongolia belongs to a shallow low-temperature hydrothermal type deposit.The shallow reserves of detected ore bodies with steep veins and gentle inclines,including silver,lead,and zin,have reached a large scale.The data processing and interpretation of shallow reserves and the analysis of geological ore-forming conditions reveal that the ore bodies with gentle inclines exist in a set of interlayer fracture zones with relatively low wave impedance.In addition,there is an ore-bearing tectonic zone underneath.In order to explore hydrothermal fluid ascending channels related to ore-forming,this study used seismic frequency resonance technique for cross-sectional exploration in the mining area,so as to detect structural and locational information of steep dip angle faults and discover more deep resources.Based on the wave impedance characteristics obtained from exploration with seismic frequency resonance technique and geological data of preexisting and new boreholes,this study confirmed the existence of tectonic-related thick ore bodies in the deep part of the mining area.The high-precision apparent wave impedance results of seismic frequency resonance exploration provide clear targets for deep exploration in this mining area.
