The Aesthetics of Space:Discussion on the Aesthetic Significance of"Wabi-sabi"for Contemporary Space

"侘寂风"于现代消费主义盛行之时开始反向行动,在建筑空间风格上追求宁静、内向、低物欲、返璞归真的形式体现.本研究针对近年"侘寂风"兴起的这一现象,探寻"侘寂"在空间美学上的表达手法,以及对当代空间的审美意义.首先从"侘寂"美学的起源进行探究,追溯其起源:考究其词源演变,分析"侘寂"美学根源出处,并以待庵茶室为例,指出"侘寂"如何与空间发生关系;在此基础上,总结出"侘寂风"的空间特征.最后从当代建筑作品为例,指出"侘寂"在当代设计中的延续,以及其对当代建筑空间设计的美学意义.

The"wabi-sabi style"has started to move in the opposite direction of the prevalence of modern consumerism,pursuing tranquility,inwardness,low materialism,and a return to the basics in architectural space style.In view of the rise of"wabi-sabi style"in recent years,the paper explores the expression technique of"wabi-sabi"in spatial aesthetics and its aesthetic significance to contemporary space.Firstly,it explores the origin of the aesthetics of"wabi-sabi"and traces its origin.It examines the evolution of its etymology,analyzes the origin of the aesthetics of"wabi-sabi",and points out how"wabi-sabi"relates to space by taking Dai An Teahouse as an example.On this basis,it summarizesthe spatial characteristics of"wabi-sabi style".Finally,taking contemporary architectural works as examples,it points out the continuation of"wabi-sabi"in contemporary design and its aesthetic significance to contemporary architectural space design.
