Investigation of humanistic care ability of nursing staff in rehabilitation hospital

Abstract
Objective To understand the current status of humanistic caring competence of nursing staff in rehabilitation hospi-tals.Methods 118 clinical nurses of a tertiary rehabilitation hospital were selected by convenience sampling method,and were sur-veyed by general information scale of nurses and caring ability evaluation scale,the data were analysed by using SPSS 27.0 software.Results The total score of 118 nurses'humanistic caring ability evaluation scale was(183.33±23.24),which was lower than the level of the low band of foreign norms.The cognitive dimension score was(76.66±11.51),the courage dimension score was(49.03 ±15.10),and the patience dimension score was(57.64±7.84),all of which were lower than that of the foreign norm,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The difference between nursing staff with different titles and education in the total score and courage dimension was significant(P＜0.05),in which the humanistic caring ability of nursing staff with bachelor's de-gree and above was significantly better than that of nursing staff with secondary and college education(P＜0.05),and the humanis-tic caring ability of nursing staff with the title of supervising nurse and above was significantly better than that of nurse practitioners and nurses(P＜0.05).Conclusion The humanistic caring ability of nursing staff in rehabilitation hospitals is low,especially for nursing staff with low education and low titles.Nursing managers in hospital should carry out various forms of humanistic caring train-ing courses to comprehensively improve the humanistic caring ability of clinical nurses,especially to strengthen the cultivation of hu-manistic caring ability of nursing staff with low education and low titles.关键词
