Abstract
In vitro tests were carried out to study hypoglycemic effect of bitter melon extract,selenium yeast and chromium yeast composition(composition capsule).A total of 105 people,with 52 in the treatment group and 53 in the control group participated in the study.The treatment group took composition capsules,and the control group took a placebo daily for 60 days respectively,and relevant indicators were tested.The results showed that,for the treatment group,fasting blood glucose decreased 5.52%with an effective rate of 48.08%;postprandial 2-hour blood glucose decreased 10.18%with the effective rate of 59.62%.There was a significant difference in the effective rates of fasting blood glucose(P<0.05)and postprandial 2-hour blood glucose(P<0.01)between the treatment and control groups.There was no significant increase in fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2-hour blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin and blood lipid,and the average decrease of fasting blood glucose was≥10%in the treatment group.During the test,no adverse reactions related to the treatment or placebo were found,and no significant changes or abnormalities in safety check indicators were observed.According to hypoglycemic function evaluation,it was believed that bitter melon extract,selenium yeast and chromium yeast composition capsules had auxiliary hypoglycemic function.关键词
