Progress of secretion,extraction,and omics research of milk-derived exosomes
摘要
Abstract
Exosomes are nanoscale vesicles secreted by eukaryotic cells into the extracellular space,carrying proteins,nucleic acids,and lipids,serving as carriers for intercellular communication.They are widely present in biological fluids,including exosomes derived from breast milk,which have garnered significant attention due to their unique functional properties.However,due to their small size and low density,the extraction process of exosomes poses numerous challenges.Currently,there is no method that can rapidly,efficiently,and non-invasively extract exosomes with high purity,limiting their yield and purity,thus hindering their application in scientific research and clinical fields.This article provided a comprehensive review of the latest technological advancements in exosome extraction and identification,explored effective methods for inducing the secretion of exosomes from extracellular cells,and delved into the research trends in proteomics,nucleic acidomics,and lipidomics of breast milk-derived exosomes.These studies not only help us in comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of breast milk-derived exosomes but also provide a reference for the use of milk-derived exosomes as an alternative to breast milk in the prevention and treatment of clinical diseases in infants and young children.关键词
