UWB-PDOA Based Adaptive Positioning System with Few Base Stations

Abstract
Ultra-wideband(UWB)technology is widely used in indoor and outdoor positioning.In order to ad-dress the limitations of traditional multi-base stations positioning schemes,a few base stations adaptive positio-ning system based on ultra-wideband phase difference of arrival(UWB-PDOA)is proposed.The system utilizes UWB-PDOA technology and a weight adaptive positioning technology based on ESP32 signal strength to signifi-cantly reduce the system reliance on environmental deployment and improve positioning accuracy and stability.By combining environmental prior information and prior knowledge of the target height,a complete prior knowl-edge base is constructed,and an adaptive positioning technology is used to adjust the confidence weight of dif-ferent positioning base stations using information from multiple sensors,further improving positioning accuracy and robustness.Experimental results show that the proposed system has high positioning accuracy and stability in both line of sight(LOS)and non line of sight(NLOS)environments,and requires no more than three base stations to meet the requirements of indoor environment positioning.关键词
