摘要

Abstract

Lithium plating is one of the major safety hazards in the use of lithium ion batteries.It will not only cause the battery's life to decrease rapidly,but also cause catastrophic consequences such as burning and explosion.With the development of fast charging technology in recent years,the need to diagnose lithium plating in lithium ion batteries has become increasingly urgent.Aiming at the prob-lem that the diagnostic accuracy of existing quantitative methods is seriously limited by the test tem-perature,this paper proposes an improved voltage release method based on relaxation time normal-ized characterization.This article first theoretically analyzes the influence of the combination of"lithium plating amount and temperature"factors on battery voltage release behavior.On this basis,the time corresponding to the peak of the relaxation voltage difference curve in the release stage is compared with the complete release time to obtain the"relaxation time normalized parameter",a di-mensionless characteristic parameter for temperature desensitization of lithium plating diagnosis.Fi-nally,multi-physics model simulation and experimental testing were used to verify the diagnostic ac-curacy and temperature adaptability of the new method.
