Optimization of Plunger Pump Port Plate Based on Pre-suction and Drainage Structure

Abstract
The structure of the transition area of the port plate plays a crucial role in suppressing pulsation and reducing vibration and noise of the plunger pump.Based on the principle of suction suppression of the port plate,structural optimization of the transition zone of the port plate is carried out.Firstly,the additional throttling area required to balance the change rate of throttling area and the movement rate of the plunger cavity was calculated,and the transition zone structure of the port plate was optimized.Then,simulation analysis and verification were conducted on the pressure,flow pulsation,and cavitation of the axial plunger pump through PumpLinx.The results indicate that the optimized transition zone structure of the port plate can effectively reduce pressure and flow pulsation,and alleviate cavitation.关键词
