Abstract

"Teacher-student conflict"is an important event in modem school management,and the occurrence of teacher-student conflict in primary and secondary schools is a serious educational tragedy.Rooted in China's traditional cultural context and modem school situation,it can be found that the decline of the tradition of"respecting teachers and valuing education",the abandonment of the culture of"teachers'dignity",the failure of the virtue of"caring for younger generation"and the forgetfulness of the rules of"observing discipline and law"lead to frequent conflicts between teachers and students in primary and secondary schools.In this context,teacher-student conflict prevention in primary and second-ary schools requires the government to take the lead in creating a social environment of respecting teachers and valuing education,the education department to strengthen the legal guidance for teachers and students'behaviors,the school to actively create a campus culture of teachers'dignity,and teachers take the initiative to cultivate their professional abilities and qualities for educating individuals.At the same time,dealing with the teacher-student conflict needs legal punishment according to the degree of conflict,establishing equal consultation and dialogue between teachers and students,introduc-ing third-party intervention to mediate the teacher-student conflict,and employing comprehensive methods to restore teach-er-student relationships.
