采用超硬聚晶金刚石(PCD)刀具对SiC/SiC陶瓷基复合材料进行干式和低温液氮冷却铣削试验研究,获得PCD刀具在干式和低温液氮冷却铣削条件下的前刀面和后刀面磨损形貌;分析PCD刀具在干式和低温液氮冷却铣削条件下的主要磨损形式,测得PCD刀具在干式和低温液氮冷却铣削条件下的刀具使用寿命.研究表明:在干式铣削条件下,PCD刀具前刀面的主要磨损形式为刀尖磨钝和崩刃;而在低温液氮冷却铣削条件下,PCD刀具前刀面的主要磨损形式为刀尖磨钝和微剥落;与干式铣削条件相比,PCD刀具在低温液氮冷却铣削条件下寿命提高约71.4%.

Polycrystalline diamond(PCD)tools were used to mill SiC/SiC composite under dry and cryogenic cooling conditions,obtaining wear morphology of the rake and flank surfaces on the PCD tool.The wear modes of the PCD tools were analyzed,and the tool service life was measured.The reserch results show that the major wear modes of the PCD tools are tool nose fracture and edge tripping under the dry milling condition,while the major wear modes are tool nose fracture and spalling under the cryogenic cooling condition.To compare with the PCD tool under the dry cutting condition,the usage life of the PCD tools under the cryogenic cooling condition increases up to 71.4%.
