Abstract
Objective:To observe and explore the effects of Qigui Wuwu Decoction on symptom improvement,airway remodeling and immune balance in patients with bronchial asthma.Method:A total of 80 patients with bronchial asthma admitted to Taicang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from October 2021 to March 2023 were selected and divided into control group(40 cases)and observation group(40 cases)according to odd-even number drawing method.After admission,the control group was treated with conventional methods,while the observation group was treated with Qigui Wuwu Decoction in addition to conventional treatment.The therapeutic effects,airway remodeling indexes,serum immune factor levels and lung ventilation function indicators were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in airway remodeling indexes between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the levels of airway remodeling indexes in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,compared with the control group,those in the observation group were decreased more significantly(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of serum immune factors between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the levels of interferon-γ(IFN-γ)and interleukin-4(IL-4)in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment,compared to those in the control group,those in the observation group were improved more significantly(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in lung ventilation function indicators between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the levels of lung ventilation function indicators in both groups were improved compared to those before treatment,compared to those in the control group,those in the observation group were improved more significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion:Qigui Wuwu Decoction can not only significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with bronchial asthma,but also improve airway remodeling,serum immune factor levels and lung function indicators.It has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with bronchial asthma.关键词
