摘要

Abstract

To investigate the effects of peony seed oil on milk yield,milk composition and the levels of total cholesterol,DHA and α-linolenic acid in milk and blood of lactating mice,pregnant mice were used as experimental animals and were gavaged continuously for 22 days.The changes in milk yield and milk composition of lactating mice,as well as the variations in the levels of total cholesterol,DHA and α-linolenic acid in milk and blood,were detected and analyzed.The results showed that the milk yield of lactating mice in each peony seed oil group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The levels of milk protein,lactose,total solids and non-fat solids in milk were significantly increased(P<0.05,P<0.01,respectively).The content of milk fat was decreased(P<0.05).The total cholesterol levels in milk and blood of lactating mice in each peony seed oil group were significantly decreased(P<0.05,P<0.01,respectively);meanwhile,the levels of DHA and α-linolenic acid were significantly increased(P<0.01).The results showed that peony seed oil could increase milk yield of lactating mice,reduce the cholesterol content in milk,improve milk quality,and the levels of DHA and α-linolenic acid in milk.
