雪被去除对亚高山森林"凋落物-土壤"剖面有机碳周转模式的影响OA北大核心CSTPCD
Effects of Snow Removal on the Organic Carbon Turnover Pattern of"Litter-Soil"Profile in a Subalpine Forest
气候变化引起冬季雪被的剧烈改变,可能导致"地表凋落物-土壤"连续体的碳周转过程在土壤剖面上出现分化.在川西亚高山森林开展除雪处理的原位模拟实验,监测并定期采样分析地表和土壤不同层次的有机和无机碳含量的季节变化,以探究雪被去除对土壤碳周转的调控机制.结果表明:去除地表雪被加剧土壤冻融循环,剧烈的冻结事件促进了地表凋落物和土壤有机层中有机碳的积累和碳有效性,而对矿质土壤层的影响并不显著.土壤呼吸作用受到雪被去除影响显著降低."凋落叶-土壤"连续体中,除雪处理会增加矿质土壤层与凋落物层的各种有机碳间的联系,但矿质土壤层与土壤有机层之间有机碳的联系因此失去显著性.地表雪被损失和冻融事件加剧,对川西亚高山森林生态系统有机碳积累过程具有短期积极作用.
Climate change has led to intense alterations in winter snow cover,potentially cau-sing differentiation in the carbon turnover process of the"litter-soil"continuum along the soil pro-file.This study conducts in-situ simulation experiments in a subalpine forest of western Sichuan with snow removal treatment,monitoring and periodically sampling the organic and inorganic carbon con-tent of different soil layers to explore the regulatory mechanisms of soil carbon turnover in response to snow removal.The results indicate that snow removal exacerbates soil freeze-thaw cycles,with in-tense freezing events promoting the accumulation and carbon availability of organic carbon in litter and organic soil layers,while having insignificant effects on the mineral soil layer.Soil respiration is significantly reduced by the removal of snow cover.In the"litter-soil"continuum,snow removal increases the connectivity between various organic carbons in the mineral soil layer and the litter lay-er but diminishes the significance of the connectivity between organic carbons in the mineral soil lay-er and the organic soil layer.The loss of snow cover and intensified freeze-thaw events have a short-term positive effect on the accumulation of soil organic carbon in the subalpine forest ecosystem of western Sichuan.
