Evaluation on the Effect of Foam Concrete Damping Layer in Highway Tunnel

近年来泡沫混凝土材料因优良的抗震性能逐渐被推广应用于隧道减震层结构,本研究分析了强震作用下公路隧道泡沫混凝土减震层的减震机理.使用ABAQUS有限元软件建立精细化隧道结构模型,其中泡沫混凝土减震层采用可表征泡沫混凝土受压行为的可压缩泡沫本构模型,用于分析强震作用下隧道二次衬砌结构损伤.结果表明,隧道结构在水平向与竖向地震荷载共同作用下的损伤比水平向荷载单独作用的情况严重,泡沫混凝土减震层虽不能从根本上改变隧道结构受力状态,但可显著降低二次衬砌的内力幅值.其次对比了不同厚度泡沫混凝土减震层的减震效果得出,对于穿越高烈度地震区公路隧道,当采用厚度为0.4 m的泡沫混凝土减震层时,其在强震作用下减震效能最高.

Foam concrete materials have gradually been promoted and applied in tunnel seismic isola-tion layers due to their excellent seismic performance.This study analyzed the seismic isolation mech-anism of foam concrete seismic isolation layers in highway tunnels under strong earthquake actions.A refined tunnel structural model was established by ABAQUS finite element software,wherein the foam concrete seismic isolation layer adopted a compressible foam constitutive model to characterize the compressive behavior of foam concrete,used to analyze the damage to the secondary lining structure of the tunnel under strong earthquake actions.The results indicate that the damage to the tunnel structure under the combined action of horizontal and vertical seismic loads is more severe than when subjected to horizontal loads alone.Although the foam concrete seismic isolation layer cannot fundamentally change the stress state of the tunnel structure,it can significantly reduce the internal force amplitude of the secondary lining.Furthermore,a comparison of the seismic isolation effects of foam concrete seismic isolation layers of different thicknesses reveals that for highway tunnels traversing high-intensity earthquake zones,the most effective seismic isolation is achieved when using a foam concrete seismic isolation layer with a thickness of 0.4 m under strong earthquake actions.
