Research Progress on the Molecular Mechanism of Promoting Histone-protamine Replacement in Spermatids
摘要
Abstract
In the process of spermatogenesis,the histone in the chromatin in the round sperm nucleus is gradually replaced by protamine,which makes the chromatin more compact and lays the structural foundation for the specific morphology of the mature sperm head.If the defect of histone-protamine replacement,it will lead to the failure of sperm nuclear condensation,showing abnormal sperm morphology and decreased motility,and difficult fertilization.Studies have shown that a series of changes such as histone post-translational modification,transient DNA strand break,DNA strand break repair and chromatin remodeling complex recognition can promote histone-protamine replacement.This paper reviews the current research progress on the molecular mechanism of promoting histone-protamine replacement from the above aspects,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility.关键词
