Abstract
Based on data from students of 5 majors in a university of seven years,this paper empirically analyzes the academic performance of students who have transferred to other majors using a linear re-gression method.The study found that,on the whole,compared with original major students,students who transfer majors have better academic performance,and their academic performance has a firm con-sistency during college;the academic performance during the first year basically determines the overall academic performance of their college career;the academic performance of students who have trans-ferred to other majors shows firm heterogeneity among majors.Based on this,it proposes that university teaching management institutions and teachers should take incentive measures to improve students'aca-demic performance during their first year and that various majors in universities should carefully evalu-ate the academic performance of students who transfer their majors.关键词
