Association Between Physical Activity of Different Intensities and Serum Uric Acid Lev-els:A Two-sample Mendelian Randomization Analysis

目的 探索不同强度身体活动与血清尿酸含量之间潜在的因果关系.方法 孟德尔随机化研究使用了不同强度身体活动与血清尿酸含量的全基因组关联研究.逆方差加权分析方法(inverse-variance weighted,IVW)作为主要分析方法.敏感性分析用于检验MR分析结果是否可靠.结果 在IVW方法结果中,低强度有氧训练、轻度的身体活动、中等强度的身体活动对血清尿酸水平降低具有显著的因果效应(OR=0.69,95%CI:0.50~0.96,p=0.031);(OR=0.60,95%CI:0.45~0.80,p=0.000 6);(OR=0.85,95%CI:0.75~0.96,p=0.01),但剧烈的身体活动对血清尿酸水平没有显著影响(OR=0.92,95%CI:0.77~1.10,p=0.39).敏感度分析显示没有反向因果关系、多效性和异质性的证据.结论 低强度有氧训练、轻度的身体活动、中等强度的身体活动对血清尿酸水平的降低存在因果关联提供了遗传学证据,而剧烈的身体活动和血清尿酸水平的降低不存在直接因果关联.

Objective To explore potential causal relationships between physical activity of varying intensity and serum uric acid levels.Methods A genome-wide association study between physical activity of different intensities and serum uric acid levels was used for the Mendelian randomization study.Inverse-variance weighted(IVW)analysis method was used as the primary analysis method.Sensitivity analyses were used to test the reliability of the MR analysis results.Results Among the results of the IVW method,low-intensity aero-bic training,light physical activity,and moderate-intensity physical activity had a significant causal effect on the reduction of serum uric acid levels(OR=0.69,95%CI:0.50~0.96,p=0.031);(OR=0.60,95%CI:0.45~0.80,p=0.000 6);(OR=0.85,95%CI:0.75~0.96,p=0.01),but strenuous physical activity had no significant effect on serum uric acid levels(OR=0.92,95%CI:0.77~1.10,p=0.39).Sensitivity analyses showed no evidence of reverse causality,pleiotropy or heterogeneity.Conclusion Low-intensity aerobic training,light physical activity,and moderate-intensity physical activity provided genetic evidence of a causal association for the reduction in serum uric acid levels,whereas there was no direct causal association between vigorous physical activity and the reduction in serum uric acid levels.
