Effect of vitamins on animal fur and its mechanism
皮毛状况是评判动物生长发育的重要指标,健康的动物常表现出皮肤红润、毛发油亮的特点.维生素参与的代谢通路在动物生长、发育、繁殖等生理过程中发挥关键作用,维生素还直接影响动物的皮毛状况.维生素A及其衍生物可调节角质层死细胞剥落和表皮层活细胞增殖,促进皮肤细胞更新,增强皮肤弹性.维生素C能够清除自由基,减少氧化应激对皮肤的损伤,也能够通过调节皮肤脯氨酸和赖氨酸羟化酶的活性参与胶原蛋白的合成和修复.维生素D通过调节表皮分化与增殖,维持皮肤正常新陈代谢及毛发生长,形成稳定屏障,防止水分流失并阻止微生物入侵.维生素E能够防止皮肤细胞膜脂质氧化,维持细胞膜的完整性和稳定性.B族维生素主要作为细胞的辅酶,对皮肤弹性、皮肤免疫、皮毛颜色与顺滑度具有调节作用.维生素虽在饲料配方中占比较低,但在动物皮毛发育等生理功能中发挥重要作用.文章综述了维生素对动物皮毛的影响及作用机理,以期为动物皮毛的营养调控提供参考.
The skin and fur condition is an important indicator judging the growth of animals.Healthy animals always exhibit characteristics of rosy skin and oily hair.The metabolic pathway involved in vitamins plays key roles in the physiological processes of growth,development and reproduction of animals.Particularly,vitamin nutrition directly affects the fur condition of animals.Vitamin A and its derivatives can regulate the exfoliation of dead cells in the stratum corneum and the proliferation of living cells in the epidermis,promoting skin cell renewal and increasing skin elasticity.Vitamin C can eliminate free radicals,reduce oxidative stress damage to the skin,and participate in collagen synthesis and repair by regulating the activity of skin proline and lysine hydroxylase.Vitamin D can regulate the differentiation and proliferation of the epidermis by maintaining normal skin metabolism and promoting hair growth,forming a stable barrier to prevent water loss and the invasion of microorganisms.Vitamin E can prevent lipid oxidation of skin cell membranes and maintain the integrity and stability of cell membranes.B vitamins mainly serve as coenzymes and have regulatory effects on skin elasticity,skin immunity,fur color,and smoothness.Although vitamins are relatively low in feed formulations,they play an important role in animal fur development and other physiological functions.This article reviews the effects and mechanisms of vitamins on animal fur,in order to provide a reference for regulation strategies of animal fur condition.
