Abstract
Digital memory is the new trend in memory preservation nowadays.The digital memory lab is an exploratory practice for libraries to participate in personal digital memory preservation,aiming at enriching digital memory research and building public knowledge and skills around the complex issues of personal digital archiving.The article uses the network survey method to investigate the name,professional equipment,and service content of digital memory labs in American public libraries.Then,it comes to the conclusion that the digital memory labs of American public libraries have the advanced experience of guiding the public to pay attention to the preservation of personal digital resources,cooperating with multiple parties,and leading development with advanced examples.Finally,combining with the actual situation of China,it is proposed that public libraries in China can promote the construction of digital memory labs from the aspects of pilot promotion,enrichment of resources,legal safeguard,and win-win cooperation.关键词
