Method for Drawing Freight Train Running Lines in Railway Train Working Diagram Based on Finite Space-Time Domain

Abstract
There is still a competition phenomenon between passenger trains and freight trains on some trunk lines of conventional railways in China.Therefore,the railway department often adopts the method of adjusting passengers and increasing goods to meet the demand for freight transportation during some periods.However,as freight train running lines are often drawn after passenger train running lines when the conventional railway train working diagram is prepared,and there is a lack of automatic analysis and preparation methods after the passenger trains stop running,the incompatibility between the freight market and working diagram preparation ensues.Therefore,the problem of drawing freight train running lines after the passenger trains stop running on conventional railways was transformed into a dynamic programming problem.The model principle was expounded from three aspects:functional characteristics of running lines,station interval time,and area for drawing freight train running lines.A dynamic programming model based on dual calculation cycles was constructed,and the model's effectiveness was verified by taking the section from Pingnan Station to Handannan Station on the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway as an example.The results show that the model can effectively solve the continuous drawing problem of freight train running lines in a limited space-time domain,which has theoretical and practical significance for improving the passing capacity of freight trains on conventional railways and optimizing the structure of passenger and freight trains on conventional railways.关键词
