Abstract
The structures of two types of polysaccharides HSP-1 and HSP-2 from black ginseng and their effects on skin moisturizing and photoprotection were studied. The results showed that both HSP-1 and HSP-2 contain proteins and had characteristic polysaccharide peaks, with identical primary structures. The yield of HSP-1 was less than HSP-2,the molecular weight of HSP-1 was less than 30 kDa,and HSP-2 molecular weight was more than 30 kDa.In terms of monosaccharide composition, galactose and rhamnose were the main monosaccharide components of HSP-1,and arabinose was the main monosaccharide component of HSP-2.HSP-1 had a triple helix structure, while HSP-2 lacked this feature, and indicating their spatial structure was different.By comparing their moisture absorption ability, moisture retention ability, skin thickness and chroma, hydroxyproline, glycosaminoglycan and lipid content, total antioxidant capacity, superoxide dismutase and malondialdehyde content of mouse skin,it was found that HSP-1 was better than HSP-2 in moisture absorption and moisture retention, inhibition of skin hydroxyproline and lipid loss, accumulation of glycosaminoglycan, and alleviation of inflammatory state caused by oxidative stress.Therefore,HSP-1 polysaccharide could have a better effect on skin moisturizing and photoprotection.关键词
