Comprehensive Performance of Yield,Quality and Stress Tolerance of 504S Series Hybrid Rice Combinations
摘要
Abstract
In order to breed new Indica hybrid rice varieties with good quality,high yield and stress resistance,we used six hybrid rice combi-nations from excellent Indica thermo-sensitive genic male sterile Line 504S with low critical temperature of fertility alteration,high outcrossing rate,high combining ability and so on.The yield,quality and stress resistance were studied.The results showed that the average output of the 504S series combination was 10 098.5 kg/hm2,the quality of four hybrid varieties came up to the second grade standard of Cooking Rice Variety Quality from Ministry of Agriculture and accounted for 66.7%of all combinations.Six combinations were moderate resistance to rice blast and moderate susceptibility to bacterial blight.The variable coefficient of heat resistance of 504S series combination were zero,and the heat resist-ance grade were three,indicating that the heat resistance of 504S was strong.In summary,the hybridized combination from 504S had high yield,excellent rice quality,strong resistance to disease or insect and heat-resistance.关键词
