Abstract

The fitness of Coniella vitis resistant to imazalil and cross-resistance between imazalil and triazole fungicides were studied.The results showed that some resistant strains were significantly higher than sensitive strains in terms of mycelial growth rate,spore production and pathogenicity,but there was no significant correlation between pathogenicity and the EC50 value of strain.The average EC50 value of 37 strains of Coniella vitis to imazalil,propiconazole,difenoconazole and flusilazole were 16.5339,1.1159,2.2293,1.6481 μg·mL-1,respectively.The correlation coefficients of EC50 logarithm of imazalil with propiconazole,difenoconazole and flusilazole were 0.6572,0.5261,and 0.5106 respectively,indicating that there was cross-resistance between imazalil and propiconazole,but no significant cross-resistance with difenoconazole and flusilazole.These results showed that the Coniella vitis resistant to imazalil had strong fitness,and had the potential to become a dominant population.Therefore,when using imazalil to control grape white rot,it is important to avoid mixing it with propiconazole,in order to slow down the development of pathogen resistance.
