A Cognitive Model for Pattern Recognition in Solving Cross-Over Problems

叉联问题是指属于多个类族的问题的复合,依赖多个作为知识的数学模式共同解决,其模式识别过程分为刺激审查、模式整合和模式评价 3 个阶段.研究旨在探索模式整合过程的心理机制,通过对 3 名高中教师和 3 名高中生出声思维的质性分析,以及分别对 100 名和 91 名高中生的两项问卷测试的量化检验,发现了解题者同时存在自下而上和自上而下的双向加工、分别存在因果形式或并列形式的两种模式整合规律,并基于知识表征理论作出了更深层次的解释.从而在理论方面完善了叉联问题模式识别过程的认知模型,在实践方面给出了叉联问题模式识别策略的教学启示.

Cross-over problem refers to the composite of problems belonging to multiple categories,which requires multiple mathematical patterns for its solution.The process of pattern recognition is divided into three stages:stimulus examination,pattern integration,and pattern evaluation.This study aims to explore the psychological mechanisms of pattern integration.Through the qualitative analysis of 3 teachers and 3 high school students'vocal thinking,as well as the quantitative testing of two questionnaire tests on 100 and 91 high school students,respectively,this study finds that students exhibit both bottom-up and top-down bidirectional processing,as well as two types of causal and parallel forms in pattern integration.Additionally,a deeper explanation has been provided based on the knowledge representation theory.This study has further improved the cognitive model of pattern recognition process in cross-over problems theoretically,and offered some teaching implications for pattern recognition strategies in practice.
