Abstract
[Objective]To systematically assess the effects of caffeine consumption on endurance exercise performance.[Method]Us-ing keywords such as "caffeine","exercise","physical activity","training",and "fitness". Searches were conducted in seven databases,including CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure),WanFang,China Biology Medicine disc (CBM),PubMed,and Embase,for relevant Chinese and English literature published internationally and domestically from January 2011 to July 2023. Literature was selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Additionally,evidence from the included studies was assessed using the Chinese Food and Health Evidence Quality Assessment System.[Result]Five studies were included,all of which were randomized controlled trials. The results indicated that a single intake of caffeine at a dose of 3~6 mg/kg body weight before exercise significantly improved endurance performance in individuals engaged in physical activity. The evidence quality was rated as good,with a recommendation grade of C.[Conclusion]A single intake of caffeine at a dose of 3—6 mg/kg body weight before exercise significantly enhanced endurance performance in individuals engaged in physical activity.关键词
