Consideration of f lux-loss fault in auxiliary anti-windup sliding mode control of PMSM

Abstract
To address the threats posed by issues such as permanent magnet demagnetization and controller output saturation to system reliability and safety,a control method is proposed for permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSM)that incorporates auxiliary anti-saturation sliding mode control while considering demagnetization faults.Deadbeat fault-tolerant control is employed to mitigate demagnetization in synchronous motors,maintaining a constant effective flux linkage by adjusting the d-axis current,thereby ensuring a stable electromagnetic torque output.A current sliding mode controller is established to output the q-axis current,and an auxiliary anti-saturation control algorithm is designed to compensate for excessive adjustment currents from the sliding mode output.Simulation results demonstrate that without this control strategy,the motor's speed begins to linearly decrease from 300 Nr/s after demagnetization,with an initial peak iq reaching 200 A.In contrast,with this control strategy,the PMSM can maintain a stable speed of 300 Nr/s,and the peak saturation value of the q-axis control current is limited to within 30 A,representing an 85%reduction in iq compared to the uncontrolled scenario,thus achieving stable tracking of motor speed.This research provides technical support for the reliable application of PMSMs in the packaging and food industries.关键词
