摘要

Abstract

People's lifetime is founded on early learning.Fully implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education,adhering to the child-centered approach,and helping young children to make adequate preparations for school can promote their adaptation to school and bring long-term benefits to their individual growth and social develop-ment.Early childhood school readiness is ecologically orientated,with emphasis on the interaction between the individual child and the environment.However,the development of school readiness of young children is still uneven,the subjective experience of school readiness of young children has been neglected,and the motivational factors affecting school readiness of young children have not been paid attention to,and so on.Self-determination theory provides a new way to deepen the research on early childhood school readiness.The core idea of the theory is that human beings,as active organisms,are bom with the potential for psychological development and self-growth,and that in the organic interaction between their in-temal and external environments,they continuously integrate,internalize,and leam in order to achieve positive develop-mental processes and outcomes.Specifically,the self-determination theory perspective highlights the value of"children-centered"in the concept of school readiness,which inspires researchers and educators to pay attention to the basic psycho-logical needs inherent in children's school readiness,and the supportive factors of parents and teachers in the environ-ment.The educational approach to school readiness from the perspective of self-determination theory includes promoting the holistic development of young children in different domains,valuing the subjective experience of young children,and stimulating both internal and external motivation for school readiness.
