Physical Education Teacher Education in China:Reviews and Implications

Abstract
Physical education teacher education has become a key area of research for physical education teachers in China.A systematic review and in-depth analysis of relevant achievements can provide guidance and reference for the in-depth de-velopment of theoretical and practical aspects of physical education teacher education in China.This study focuses on the core journal literature in the field of physical education teacher education in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database from 2014 to 2023.Based on the LDA topic model,12 topics were aggregated,and combined with pyL-DAvis visualization tool and manual coding,five research topics were determined:professional direction and standards for physical education teachers,knowledge and ability of physical education teachers,curriculum for physical education teacher training,professional certification and development characteristics of physical education education,and post service training for physical education teachers.On this basis,an evaluation of existing research is conducted and three future prospects for sports teacher education research are proposed,including the construction of a sports teacher training system,the concept and standards of outstanding sports teachers,and sports teacher training cases,in order to promote the high-quality develop-ment of sports teacher education theory and practice in China.关键词
