Evaluation and Identification of Cold Resistance in Branches of 129 Grape(Vitis L.)Germplasm Resources

Abstract
129 grape germplasm branches preserved in the National Repository for Grapevine(Zhengzhou)were used as test materials,and the differential thermal analysis was used to conduct low-temperature treatment using a high-low temperature alternating refrigerator.The subordinate function method was used to classify them and evaluate their cold resistance,screening cold resistant resources.The results showed that the low-temperature half lethal temperature of cold resistance in the branches of 129 grape germplasm was between ﹣34.9℃and ﹣20.4℃,and the cold resistance among germplasm obeyed a normal distribution.The cold resistance of grapes was a quantitative trait controlled by multiple genes.Using the membership function method combined with cluster analysis,21 highly resistant grape germplasm,including Makedamuisi,5A and Pione were screened out.At the same time,there were differences in cold resistance among different groups,with interspecific hybrids>V.vinifera×V.labrusca>V.vinifera.The cold resistance of grapes for different purposes was represented by rootstock>wine>table.The research results provide theoretical support for the selection of cold resistant parents and the study of the mechanism of grapevine cold resistance.关键词
