Study on the Impact Mechanism of Policy Participation on Teachers'Perception of Their Social Status:Based on an Analysis of 22,369 Teacher Questionnaires

Abstract
The policy participation of teachers is not only a significant manifestation of the modernization of educational governance but also plays an important role in enhancing the perception of teachers'social status.This study utilizes empirical survey data from 22,369 teacher questionnaires collected by the research group on"Policy System Research for Enhancing Teacher Status in the New Era"to construct a chain-mediated model.The purpose is to examine the marginal contribution of teachers participating in educational policies and explore the impact paths and mechanisms through which teacher participation influences the elevation of teacher status.Through data analysis,it was found that teacher participation in policy already has a certain institutional foundation and path guarantees,but overall participa-tion levels are low,with significant group differences observed across gender,position,educational stage,teaching experience and region.Introducing teacher participation in policy implementation helps effectively enhance teachers'perceptions of their social status.Moreover,teachers'perception of political status and societal respect play a signifi-cant chain-mediated role in the influence path of teacher policy participation on status recognition.Therefore,the study recommends establishing evidence-based mechanisms for policy participation,improving the support system for policy participation;fostering a democratic governance atmosphere within schools to increase teacher participation willingness;and strengthening training for teachers'policy participation capabilities to improve participation effectiveness.关键词
