A Review of the 11th Quadrennial Meeting of the International Study Group on the Relations between the History and Pedagogy of Mathematics
摘要
Abstract
The 11th Quadrennial Meeting of the International Study Group on the Relations between the History and Pedagogy of Mathematics(HPM-2024)was held from July 1-5,2024,at the University of New South Wales in Australia.By analyzing the content of the conference,current research characteristics of the international HPM research field can be summarized as follows:utilizing the original historical sources of mathematics,integrating diverse culture,emphasizing the history of mathematics education,and establishing dialogues between history and technology across time and space.The conference provides the following inspiration for conducting HPM research in China:establishing a global vision based on the Chinese tradition;using historical sources and making effective use of technology;and promoting communication and collaboration among researchers from different backgrounds.关键词
