摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To systematically summarize the application progress of hawthorn in the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome,so as to provide reference for the development of hawthorn drugs or health food with the main function of preventing metabolic syndrome.[Method]A large number of domestic and foreign related literature about hawthorn's preventive effect on metabolic syndrome were reviewed and systematically summarized.[Result]Hawthorn can regulate blood lipid,reduce blood glucose,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anticoagulation,anti-atherosclerosis and other pharmacological effects,for metabolic syndrome research has a very good cura-tive effect and application value.[Conclusion]Hawthorn as a health medicine or food has great potential in the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome,and is expected to be a safe and effective new medicine or health food for the prevention of metabolic syndrome.
