Abstract
[Objective]To assess the vitamin D nutritional status of children aged 0-6 years in Zhenjiang and to explore the factors influencing vitamin D nutritional status.[Method]A total of 10 868 children aged 0-6 years old who attended Zhenjiang Women's and Children's Hospital of Guangdong Medical University from January 2018 to December 2022 were collected as study subjects.A question-naire was used to collect the general conditions of children aged 0-6 years in Zhenjiang,and serum 25(OH)D levels were measured by radioimmunoassay to count the vitamin D nutritional status and analyse the factors influencing the vitamin D nutritional status.[Result]Among the 10 868 children in Zhenjiang,a total of 6 015 cases(55.35%)had adequate vitamin D nutritional status,3 185 cases(29.31%)had insufficient status,and 1,668 cases(15.35%)had deficiency.The literacy level of the primary caregivers was tertiary and above(OR=0.904,95%CI:0.835-0.993),the average daily activity time was≥2 h(OR=0.912,95%CI:0.723-0.976),and the mode of feeding during breastfeeding was mixed feeding(OR=0.832,95%CI:0.683-0.942)and formula milk(OR=0.884,95%CI:0.693-0.913)were protective factors for vitamin D nutritional status;whereas age(OR=1.734,95%CI:1.083-3.149)anaemia in the last 3 months(OR=1.194,95%CI:1.028-2.178),recurrent upper respiratory tract infections(OR=1.484,95%CI.1.119-2.798)and recurrent diarrhoea(OR=1.312,95%CI:1.184-2.591)were risk factors for vitamin D nutritional status.[Conclusion]The prevalence of vitamin D insufficiency/deficiency is high among children aged 0-6 years in Zhenjiang,and attention should be paid to the vitamin D nutritional status of children aged 0-6 years,and appropriate interventions should be carried out on the possible influencing fac-tors in order to ensure the healthy growth of children.关键词
