摘要

Abstract

Selenium nanoparticles have been widely used in functional foods and other fields due to their good biocompatibility,bio-availability,and low toxicity.This article reviewed the biosynthesis methods of selenium nanoparticles and research progresses in regulating intestinal mucosal immune function and maintaining intestinal microbiota homeostasis.Selenium nanoparticles could alleviate intestinal in-jury by activating the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)pathway and its downstream genes.They exerted anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)/nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)pathway.In the future,researchers could further explore the probiotic mechanism of biosynthesis of selenium nanoparticles,leverage the synergistic effect of probiotics and selenium nanop-articles,and achieve more precise and efficient probiotic effects,based on the foundations provided by this study.
