摘要

Abstract

This study explored the effects of Cd/As stress on leafy vegetable seed germination and growth,to screen resistant resources.The 48 leafy vegetable varieties from eight plant families were tested.Under Cd,As,and combined Cd/As stress,germination potential,germination rate,fresh mass,root length,and plant height were measured.Poaceae vegetables showed the highest tolerance,while Chenopodiaceae were the most sensitive.Amaryllidaceae were sensitive to Cd,Amaranthaceae had high germination potential,but root length was sensitive to As.Tolerant varieties like Barley Seedling,Rye Seedling,Dwarf Jicai Suzhouqing,and Siji Wuban Dake Xiangyoumai had the germination and growth potential tolerance indices of 3.02 to 4.32 times higher than sensitive ones.Chuanhe Meiweiqing and Youxuan Siyueman showed Cd tolerance and As sensitivity,with Cd treatment tolerance indices of 5.9 to 18.85 and 2.11 to 29.55 times higher than As treatment.This study offered key insights into plant responses to heavy metal pollution and provides a reference for selecting Cd/As-tolerant plants.
