摘要

Abstract

Cultivating students'interest in learning mathematics is an important component of mathematical core competency during elementary school.The Interest in learning Mathematics Scale(ILMS)developed by Wininger and his colleagues was revised and tested for its reliability and validity by taking into account the existing research in China and abroad and the characteristics of Chinese upper elementary school students.The items were analyzed by item analysis,exploratory factor analysis and validation factor analysis to modify the questions and form a formal scale.The final questionnaire includes four dimensions:value,knowledge,emotion,and engagement,which are the same as the original scale.Results indicate that the revised ILMS has good reliability and validity in measuring interest in learning mathematics among upper-grade elementary school students.
