摘要

Abstract

Art teacher education system is a crucial mechanism for developing a high-quality and professional art teacher workforce in China.It integrates four subsystems:the governance system,academic system,pre-service cultivation system,and in-service professional development system.A holistic art teacher education system should be constructed through the four dimensions above.Future system development should emphasize normativity through grounding in local contexts and fu-ture orientation;should enhance practicality through integrating pre-service cultivation and in-service professional develop-ment of art teachers;and should strengthen supportiveness through constructing the discipline of art teacher education based on three foundational disciplines.These strategies could drive connotative development of art teacher education and contrib-ute to the establishment of Chinese-characteristic discipline-based teacher education system.
