亚抑菌浓度丙酸钠对鼠伤寒沙门菌生物膜形成与药敏影响的研究
Effects of sub-MIC sodium propionate on biofilm formation and antibiotic sensitivity of Salmonella typhimurium

Abstract
The MIC value of sodium propionate against the ATCC14028 was determined using the microbroth dilution method.Selecting 1/4 MIC and 1/2 MIC as sub-inhibitory concentrations,the effects on total protein synthesis,nucleic acid leakage biofilm formation,motility and antibiotic sensitivity of the strains were investigated.The results indicated that the MIC value of sodium propionate for Salmonella typhimurium was 32 mg/mL.Sub-MIC sodium propionate did not increase nucleic acid efflux but enhanced the synthesis of total proteins in the bacterial cells.Sub-MIC sodium propionate reduced the formation of biofilm in 96-well plates(P<0.05),decreased the number of adherent bacteria on the cover glass surface,and decreased the diameter of the bacterial colony formed by the strain in semi-solid medium(P<0.01).1/2 MIC sodium propionate increased the diameters of the inhibition zones of ciprofloxacin,ceftriaxone sodium,and chloramphenicol(P<0.05);1/4 MIC sodium propionate increased the diameter of the inhibition zone of chloramphenicol(P<0.05).In conclusion,sub-MIC sodium propionate could weaken the ability of S.typhimurium to form biofilms by inhibiting bacterial growth,reducing substrate adhesion,reducing motility while also increasing the antibiotic susceptibility of the strains.关键词
