Identification and Tissue-specific Expression Analysis of Vv4CL Gene Family in Grapevine

Abstract
4-Coumarate-CoA ligase(4CL)is a pivotal enzyme in the plant phenylpropanoid metabolic pathway,playing a critical role in the biosynthesis of flavonoids and lignin,which significantly influence grape berry quality and stress resistance.Through bioinformatics analysis,15 members of the 4CL gene family(Vv4CL01-Vv4CL15)were identified in grapevine,primarily distributed across seven chromosomes,including Chr13 and Chr18.Phylogenetic analysis classified these genes into four subfamilies(I-IV).Cis-acting element analysis revealed an enrichment of regulatory elements related to growth and development,hormone response,and stress resistance in the promoter regions of 4CL genes.Collinearity analysis indicated that segmental duplication was the major driver of family expansion.qRT-PCR results demonstrated Vv4CL02 and Vv4CL06 were highly expressed in the rachis of Kyoho grape,while Vv4CL03 exhibited the highest expression levels in young berries and stems of Shine Muscat grape.This study provides a foundation for further exploration of the mechanisms by which the 4CL gene family participates in grapevine responses to various abiotic stresses.关键词
