摘要

Abstract

m6A modification plays crucial roles in fruit ripening,softening,and postharvest preservation,with its biological functions primarily mediated by YTH domain-containing proteins.However,the VvYTH genes in'Shine Muscat'grape(Vitis vinifera)remain uncharacterized.In this study,we identified 10 VvYTH genes through bioinformatics analysis,most of which were hydrophilic acidic proteins with poor stability.Evolutionary analyses including conserved motifs,domains,gene structures,chromosomal localization,and synteny relationships revealed high conservation within the VvYTHs family.Transcriptome and qRT-PCR analyses demonstrated that VvYTHs participate in postharvest softening processes,with VvYTH1 potentially serving as a key regulator in ClO2 treatment-mediated delay of postharvest berry softening.Our findings not only establish a solid foundation for functional studies of VvYTH genes in'Shine Muscat'grape but also provide novel insights for developing fruit preservation agents targeting RNA methylation.
