Abstract

To address the low feeding rate and high damage rate in current chrysanthemum morifolium harvesters,a bionic sleeve-picking harvester was developed based on ridge planting patterns.The machine uses Y-shaped flexible spring picking sleeves mimicking human finger-hooking motions to encase flowers,detaching them via impact force.Motion mechanics analysis determined structural parameters of key components(picking roller diameter,bionic sleeves).A three-factor,three-level orthogonal field test evaluated clamping distance,feed width,and roller speed with flower picking rate,damage rate,and impurity rate as metrics.Optimal parameters were:9 mm clamping distance,80 mm feed width,20 r/min roller speed,achieving 76.6%picking rate,3.3%damage rate,and 4.9%impurity rate.This research provides references for mechanized chrysanthemum morifolium harvesting.
