Abstract

To address the challenges of cumbersome adjustments and low efficiency in traditional corrugated carton labeling equipment during specification switching,an intelligent flexible labeling device based on visual technology was designed.Combining the intelligent flexible labeling requirements of corrugated cartons,the overall structure and operational principles of the device were elaborated.Through analysis of the labeling process,key factors affecting labeling accuracy were identified.Optimal parameter settings were determined via single-factor experiments,and mathematical relationships between label positioning and dispensing delay time were established through multiple dispensing tests.Prototype testing was conducted across 20 different labeling requirements.Results revealed that the optimal parameters were:upper labeling mechanism speed of 1,500 r/min,peeling height of 6 mm,peeling angle of 25°;lower labeling mechanism speed of 1 400 r/min,peeling height of 2 mm,peeling angle of 25°.The success rate of primary parameter adjustment reached 85%within 35~40 s,while secondary adjustments achieved 100%success with a total time of 97~101 s.It was significantly lower than the manual adjustment time of 15~30 mins.Final labeling positional deviation was controlled within 5 mm,with an operational efficiency of 30~90 pieces/min.This study provides insights for the intelligent and flexible design of packaging equipment.
