Abstract

To clarify the application effect and feasibility of organic water-soluble fertilizer in open-field chili production in Ningxia,taking'Longjiao No.2'as the experimental material,a randomized block experiment was conducted.The experiment set up treatments such as no fertilization control,conventional fertilization,and application of organic water-soluble fertilizer to study the effects of organic water-soluble fertilizer on soil physicochemical properties and pepper yield and quality.The results showed that compared with conventional fertilization,the application of organic water-soluble fertilizer significantly reduced soil pH by 7.95%,increased organic matter and alkaline nitrogen by 2.75%and 63.29%respectively,increased soil urease,sucrase,and catalase activities by 0.04,10.04,0.02 mg/g respectively,increased yield by 10.45%,and significantly increased vitamin C and soluble sugar content by 2.46%and 41.90%respectively.Overall,organic water-soluble fertilizers not only effectively improved the soil micro-ecological environment by regulating the soil pH value,increasing the organic matter content and enzyme activity,but also significantly enhanced the yield and quality of peppers,which helped to improve the brand competitiveness of Ningxia's open ground peppers,promote industrial efficiency,and increase farmers' income.
