Abstract

An ultrasonic-assisted extraction method using deep eutectic solvents(DES)was established for extracting flavonoids from Ruo(bamboo)leaves.The effects of different DES formulations on flavonoid extraction yield were investigated.Based on preliminary single-factor experiments,the extraction process was optimized using response surface methodology(RSM)with flavonoid yield as the response variable.The optimal conditions for extracting flavonoids:DES of choline chloride and ethylene glycol(1∶4 molar ratio),20%water,50 min ultrasonic time,and a solid-to-liquid ratio of 1∶40(g/mL).Under these optimized conditions,the actual flavonoid extraction yield reached 388 mg/g.This extraction process is simple and feasible,providing a valuable reference for the utilization of Ruo leaves.
