Differential analysis of metabolic profiles between honeysuckle and honeysuckle Ophiopogon japonicus combination based on untargeted metabolomics

Abstract
Lonicera japonica(Honeysuckle)and Ophiopogon japonicus are important medicinal and edible homologous materials.An untargeted metabolomics study on the compatibility application of honeysuckle and Ophiopogon japonicus using HPLC-MS technology was conducted.A total of 484 metabolites were identified in honeysuckle,and 608 metabolites were identified in the mixture of honeysuckle and Ophiopogon japonicus.Riboflavin metabolism and steroid hormone metabolism were identified as common metabolic pathways.Honeysuckle provided a large amount of bioactive ingredients such as olefins,flavonoids,glycosides,and fatty acids through the pathways including ascorbic acid and aldehyde ester metabolism,retinol metabolism,alpha linolenic acid metabolism,and arachidonic acid metabolism.Ophiopogon japonicus enriched functional compounds such as polysaccharides and other components through pentose phosphate metabolism,glucose production metabolism,amino acid and nucleotide metabolism,and fructose and mannose metabolism.The combination of honeysuckle and Ophiopogon japonicus was found to achieve complementary material interactions,this untargeted metabolomics investigation provided rich data support for the scientific combination and functional compound mining of medicinal materials.关键词
